Students in Debbie Camp's third grade class at Linden Street School recently visited the Indian Rock Nature Preserve in Bristol. The field trip was the culminating event for the third grade's Native Americans of the Northeast Woodland unit of study. During the visit, the students created a bow and stone tools, and learned about the history and legends of the Tunxis Indians who once lived in our area.
