Sixth grade students in Christina Corvello's sixth grade science classes at the Middle School of Plainville recently prepared an NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) lesson to teach kindergarten students in Shannon Bakaysa's class at Linden Street School. The Linden students learned how to make a lava lamp during the lesson.

The VEX IQ Robotics State Championship was held on March 9th at the Middle School of Plainville. 54 elementary and middle school teams from throughout the state competed for eight spots that would qualify them to compete at the World VEX competition in Louisville, Kentucky in April.
